Long time no hear

It’s been some time since I’ve shared any of my crafty goodies.  Sincerest apologies.  Life has gotten the best of me for quite some time now and I haven’t spent much time playing with paper.  I have however, made some significant changes recently that should allow me to start making (and sharing) more things with you front this point on though!  Stay tuned!

I got nothing…

I’m looking for a greeting and a catch phrase. So when I do videos I can say “hey (insert something here) welcome to another Faithfule Creations video” not guys, not gang, not stampers, not….but I NEED something.  Right now I got nothing…I think I just say hello and welcome to another Faithfule Creations video…can you say BORING!!!! Also, I’d love to have a great catch phrase to end my blog posts and videos with. You know how Megan Elizabeth AboveRubies says “enjoy the moments” and I think Kristal Andrew says “from my hands to yours” or something like that….Please tell me your suggestions and if I use yours, you’ll receive a free custom watermark in whatever file format you need!!

Cricut cartridges and supplies for sale – Sales Pending All Cartridges

Currently I have sales pending for ALL the listed cartridges.   If any should fall through will update this post again and open the comments back up.

I am looking to recoup some of my investment in Cricut products.  I paid 40 a cartridge on average and am selling them for $25 each shipping included.  None have been linked to a Gypsy.

Because I started storing like the image below (please note this is NOT my box but identical to how I store mine), there was no need to keep the boxes.

I also wrote the cartridge name on the top of most of the cartridges.  Preferred payment is PayPal, but money orders will also be accepted.

Most have barely been used, some only used a couple of times.  Here is a list of my available cartridges:

Splitcoast minus insomnia

I am sick.  Sicker than I’ve been all year I think.  Don’t you just love it when your kids bring home their germs from school and forget to avoid sharing them with you?  My oldest shared her germs last week and I was feeling yucky for a couple days…after falling asleep with my youngest daughter, I think I felt better the day of and after my car wreck 2 years ago.  I can barely talk, my nose is stuffed and I can’t breathe very well and blowing it does nothing.  My voice is barely above a whisper and even that hurts if I say more than 5 or 10 words in a row.  I’ve slept so much the last couple of days I can’t sleep anymore…despite really wanting to.  So I did what I usually do when I’m not entirely feeling up to crafting and bored stiff…I visited some of my favorite blogs, watched some videos, and surfed the resource gallery.  I compiled a 220 page document full of some great projects.  A few people indicated they would like it shared.  You can download it by clicking here.  These are some of my favorite tutorials in the resource gallery.  Stay tuned for my rendition of these tutorials, I’ll be back to crafting once I feel better.

Let’s get tipsy for the 150th!

Wow, I can’t believe I’ve had 150 posts in less than a year. I know that doesn’t seem like a lot considering if I posted at least once daily I’d have…ha ha ha I almost had to go for the calculator.  It’s a lot for me because one, I don’t post everything I create, I have about 50-11 full-time jobs and only 24 hours a day, and well I just think it’s a lot.

While I can blow a wad of cash in seconds just like the next chick, I tend to be super frugal…ok I’ll say it.  I’m super cheap.  I seldom to never buy anything crafty over $5 without a coupon unless it’s on-sale and I can’t use a coupon for it (and even then it has to be a super good deal), I don’t buy paper unless stacks or open stock paper is on sale somewhere, I buy the off-brand of cereal, bread, mac n cheese, and many other things, I limit driving so I can make the gas in my tank last as long as possible,  I wash everything on cold so I don’t have to sort it and can wash fewer loads, I have my sister bring me gloves for inking and messy craft projects so I don’t have to buy them, I made my own light box so I didn’t have to buy one…you know that kinda cheap.

So when it comes to crafting, I’m always looking for ways I can make things cheaper.    Let’s face it…this is not a cheap hobby at all.  This is why I make my own glimmer mist and glue dots and other things.  On a recent trip to the Dollar Store, I saw these giant sponges:

I looked at my youngest daughter (who I craft with most often) and said….”hey you know what…I bet I could cut these up and use them for inking sponges” so we grabbed two of them.  I was able to cut one sponge into 23 pieces and they work beautifully for inking (I like  BIG inking sponge so I could have cut more than just 23 easily).   I prefer the Ranger inking tool with the rectangle foam pad but 10 pads are about 5 bucks.  Even with a coupon, it’s never going to be as cheap as 23 for a buck.  So, if you don’t mind doing some hand cutting for a couple of minutes, this might save YOU some money too!
